- The hosts started brightly looking to put Hereford under pressure and Nathan Pond fired a half chance wide.
- Hereford took time to work their way into the game but had the best opening chance on 16 minutes with Miles Storey rifling across goal and just wide after Ryan Lloyd crossed in.
- Kai Williams was causing the Bulls defence a host of problems beating the defence before firing just wide on 23 minutes.
- Williams was causing more issues three minutes later cross for Jason Oswell who was only denied by a late Ben Pollock lunge.
- As the first half wore on there was guilt edge chance at either end.
- Firstly Ryan McLean had a run at goal only for his low shot to be denied by the leg of goalkeeper Russ Griffiths.
- Moments later the Bucks rattled the post after Bulls defender Ben Pollock made a mistake allowing Jason Oswell to run in at the back post and rattle the woodwork.
- Straight after the break Pollock got caught with a flicked on header and Williams ran in before firing his effort from a tight angle over.
- Bulls goalkeeper Hall was forced into action again on 55 minutes to deny Williams who had beaten the off-side trap but the keeper met his effort with his legs.
- At the other end Yan Klukowski almost rifled home the opener but saw his goal-bound effort deflected over.
