THE world famous Red Arrows display team will be seen flying over Herefordshire later today (Thursday) as they make their way to an event.

The Royal Air Force display team will be flying over Kington, Presteigne, Leintwardine and Craven Arms, meaning people living in the north-west of Herefordshire and south Shropshire will have the chance to catch a glipse.

The jets will set off from Exeter at 9.45am, according to military-airshows, and will be seen to the south-west of Huntington, near Kington, at 10.05am.

They will then be seen south-west of Church Stretton at 10.09am.

OTHER NEWS:

The event is Shawbury families day, but it is not open to the public. The Red Arrows will arrive there at 10.13am, displaying at 12.55am and 1.35pm.

The Red Arrows represent the speed, agility and precision of the RAF, it says. 

The Red Arrows assist in recruiting to the Armed Forces, act as ambassadors for the UK and promote the best of British.

Based at RAF Scampton is Lincolnshire, the Red Arrows have been displaying since 1965.
