Cliff fall at Seatown Beach Picture: Lyme Bay Rib Charter
A LARGE section of a Dorset cliff crumbling was captured on film by a boat rental company.
A huge section of cliff at Seatown Beach, near Bridport – which may be familiar to people from Herefordshire who holiday on the south coast – fell down at around 4.45pm this afternoon.
Lyme Bay Rib Charter captured the fall on video.
A warning that a piece of cliff may fall in Seatown was issued by the West Bay Coastguard Rescue Team last week after a crack appeared.
The recent weather – rain closely followed by very hot weather – is likely to have contributed to the cliff fall.
