A record-breaking car, once crashed by Richard Hammond, will appear at a Herefordshire festival this weekend.
Vampire, a jet powered car which has held the British land speed record since 2000, will feature at Bromyard Speed Festival's Altitude with Attitude event on Saturday, August 1.
It's the first public appearance of Vampire since it was damaged during shooting for the TV show Top Gear in 2006, in a crash which severely injured presenter Richard Hammond.
The Bromyard Speed Festival is a celebration of motoring history and welcomes in excess of 140 road and race vehicles including classic cars and motorcycles, racing cars, and super cars.
The festival's Altitude with Attitude event enables entrants to run their vehicle up the historic Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb in a morning and afternoon run. Both are non-competitive, non-timed and public displays.
The event is being supported this by a Foodie Tour on Saturday, July 31. People will be able to visit and enjoy the facilities and catering of various venues across the county and will receive a Herefordshire foodie goody bag to take home.
The festival organisers have said that no dogs, other than assistance dogs, are allowed at the event.
Ticket information can be found at the festival's website.
