A HEREFORD man died after choking on a biscuit, an inquest heard.
Kevin Young, aged 67, from Canon Pyon Road in Hereford was a retired lorry driver.
An inquest held at Hereford Town Hall heard that on April 15, 2021, Mr Young had been eating a biscuit when he began choking.
He was taken to A&E but his prognosis was poor due to a brain injury and he died on April 20.

Dr Mark Turnbull, of the Hereford Medical Group, said that Mr Young had previously had radiotherapy for throat cancer and had some difficulty swallowing.
Patricia Young, said that her husband couldn't swallow properly and didn't eat some foods.
"Over the years this became worse," she said.
"He had difficulty swallowing and occasionally choked when eating food. He would then cough and the problem would be resolved."
She said that on April 15, the pair were having a cup of tea when Mr Young choked on a biscuit in the kitchen.
Efforts to complete the Heimlich manoeuvre were made and an ambulance was called.
Herefordshire coroner Mark Bricknell recorded a conclusion of accident death.
"The cause of death was a catastrophic brain injury," said Mr Bricknell.
"The airway was obstructed due to a biscuit which unfortunately led to a brain injury and as a result Mr Young died.
"I note the bowel, prostate and throat cancer he suffered."
