A HEREFORD pub has earned a five-star hygiene rating despite a staff shortage.
The Spread Eagle, in King Street, is celebrating being awarded the certificate.

Their post of Facebook said: "Today has just got better.
"This happened and we are absolutely buzzing.
"Thank you to our head chef, and our kitchen porter that have helped make this happen.
"It has been a rough couple of weeks with looking for another chef, as our head chef has been on his own!
"But we couldn’t be more prouder of him. Our kitchen porter has absolutely smashed helping him out in the kitchen, and she has made this happen as well."
