POLICE and residents in Bromyard are working together to stamp out crime in rural areas.
Rural Watch has been set up by police and rural farms and businesses to deter criminals in the same way as Neighbourhood Watch schemes.
Regular meetings to discuss rural crime, such as vehicle and machinery theft, will be held, bulletins about suspicious activities or unusual vehicles will be issued by the police and residents will be able to report any concerns.
Anyone in the Bromyard area who wants to join can contact PC Richardson on 07816 548932 or email jill.richardson@westmercia.pnn.police.uk
