VANDALS have left a Hereford church with an expensive repair bill after they smashed a number of stained glass windows.
A number of stones were found outside Chandos Street Methodist Church and a total of 16 panes of glass were broken.
Retired minister the Rev Roy Crew said he would be surprised if the damage would cost less than £1,000 to repair.
Police press officer Neil Tipton said the damage was caused between 12.15pm on Sunday and 10amonMonday.
Anyone who has seen anything unusual around the church is asked to call Hereford Police on 08457 444888.
