A TEENAGER launched an unprovoked attack on another person in a Herefordshire town.
Luke Gomez admitted three offences when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 19-year-old had assaulted two police officers acting in the course of their duties in Ross-on-Wye on May 16.
The teenager, who is of no fixed address, had also assaulted another person in the town on the same date.
Magistrates said it had been an unprovoked attack of a serious nature and handed Gomez a four-month prison sentence, suspended for two years and 200 hours of unpaid work.
He must also pay compensation of £50 to each police officer, £300 to his other victim, and a £128 victim surcharge.
