A MAN sent threatening text messages to his victim, a court has heard.
Christopher Wilson entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 50-year-old had sent three threatening text messages designed to cause distress and anxiety to a woman in Herefordshire on October 28.
Wilson, of Queensway, Hereford, was handed a 12-month community order with 110 hours of unpaid work and a two-year restraining order banning him from contacting or visiting the victim. He must pay costs of £135 and a £95 victim surcharge.
