A 20-year-old man has appeared in court charged with attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and arranging a child sex offence.
Ethan Gordon-Farleigh of Moat Way, Malvern appeared before magistrates on Thursday where he did not indicate pleas to either of the two charges.
He is charged with attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child between April 9 and April 16 this year and arranging/facilitating the commission of a child sex offence between the same dates.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction for the case.
The next hearing will take place at Worcester Crown Court on June 10.
The defendant was granted bail on condition he does not have contact with children and produces any communication devices to police officers on request.
