POLICE are launching an operation in Leominster targeting activities which they believe could lead to knife crime including underage drinking and drug taking.

Local patrols will be carried out as part of Operation Sceptre

In a video posted on Twitter constable Max Beswick, from Leominster, said: "We are going to be doing some local patrols targetting problem areas looking for anti-social behaviour, underage drinking or any drug use.

Hereford Times:

"Essentially any activities which could lead to knife crime or knife crime problems in the future.

"Any information or if you can give us any heads up as we are doing these patrols that would be greatly appreciated."
