
A CAR has been completely destroyed by fire after going up in flames near the Welsh border.
A fire crew from Ewyas Harold, on its third call-out of the day, was sent to Garway in Herefordshire's Golden Valley at 10.10pm on Sunday (April 18).
The hatchback, which in pictures appeared to be a Seat, was "totally destroyed", the crew said.

"Called to a car fire in Garway, on arrival the crew found the vehicle was well alight," Ewyas Harold fire station said.

"Using BA [breathing apparatus] and hose reel the crew extinguished the fire.
"Unfortunately the car was totally destroyed, even the alloys had partly melted.
"Thankfully no persons were injured."
