HE NUMBER of coronavirus cases in Herefordshire has risen by five in the last two days, official figures show.
The number of positive cases reported in Herefordshire by 9am on Friday (April 16) was 6,913 up from 6,908 on Wednesday.
Cases that are identified through a positive lateral flow test – those which can deliver results within half an hour – will no longer be counted if the person then takes a PCR test, which is sent to a lab to be checked, and receives a negative result within three days.
Official figures show that in the last seven days 23 coronavirus cases have been recorded in Herefordshire

Across the UK, the number of daily recorded cases on Friday was 2,596, with the cumulative total now standing at 4,383,732.
Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
