I would like to send a massive thank-you to Arrow Ward at Hereford County Hospital for the care of my father while he was in the hospital.
They were all so kind and supportive of my father, and even when we could not visit they still kept us well informed of how my dad was doing.
I’m so grateful for this – it means the world to us that there are people out there that have so much care and understanding about their patients.
As a family, we would like to send a heartfelt thank you to a few members of the team by name as we feel they need a special thank you for going above and beyond for their patients.
Firstly, I wanted to say thank you to a lovely student nurse called Milly for keeping us updated with my father’s care. She will go far with her career.
She was so professional on the phone and explained what was going on with my father. Thank you, Milly
We would also like to send a grateful thank you to a health care assistant Sophie. Sophie was so kind and caring with my father.
When I rang to speak to him she explained that we could do a video call, but I don’t understand how to do this and Sophie suggested that if called the other phone she could take it to him so I could speak to him.
She held the phone to his ear and spoke to him very professionally and was extremely patient with him – as he is very deaf she also made sure that he could hear me and I could hear him.
I would also like to thank Becky, another health care assistant, who my dad said she was lovely and and that she made him laugh.
And this isn’t something he does much now, so thank you to her for this.
