THE NUMBER of coronavirus cases in Herefordshire has risen by eight in the last two days, official figures show.
The number of positive cases reported in Herefordshire by 9am on Wednesday (April 14) was 6,908 up from 6,900 on Monday.
Cases that are identified through a positive lateral flow test – those which can deliver results within half an hour – will no longer be counted if the person then takes a PCR test, which is sent to a lab to be checked, and receives a negative result within three days.

Official figures show that in the last seven days 24 coronavirus cases have been recorded in Herefordshire
Across the UK, the number of daily recorded cases was 2,491, with the total now standing at 4,378,305.
Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
