A PARADE of supercars from Chrome-wrapped Lamborghinis to customised Ferraris were spotted in Herefordshire at the weekend filming a new TV programme.

Camera crews were at Royal Lodge, Ross-on-Wye on Sunday (April 11) filming ‘Spotting London’s Supercars’, a new TV documentary for Sky, Freesat and Freeview.

The cars, worth millions of pounds combined, were all on The Cannon Run, one of Europe’s leading driving holiday providers, travelling across the country.

The Cannon Run Spring Break rally took drivers from London to Brighton and through to Weymouth, over to Somerset and Wales before finishing in Hereford.

Royal Lodge opened up its car park for The Cannon Runners as it was the location for the rally finish line.

Production was allowed by the government following TV making guidelines with strict health measures in place for all of the cast and crew.

Drivers were separated from members of the public after they were all tested for Covid and were all required to provide a negative result to join the trip.

Harry Rutter, show director of Make UK TV, said: “Royal Lodge was absolutely stunning, the sun was shining and it proved to be the perfect location for the rally finish line.

“This was a Covid-safe shoot across three days and everyone involved tested negative for coronavirus.

“The group stayed bubbled up throughout filming and when in a public environment were asked to wear PPE and remain in groups of six while socially distancing.

“Local police were also on site to ensure everything was following the rules and everyone stayed safe just days before coronavirus restrictions were further lifted.”

Spotting London’s Supercars follows some of the country’s supercar paparazzi who compete for the best shots of the exotic rides belonging to the UK’s rich and famous.

The hour-long special programme airs on Sky channel 365, Freesat channel 516, Connected Freeview channel 264 and online via Spotlight TV this summer.
