THE coronavirus lockdown in England has eased today, with family and friends able to meet again.

New rules mean groups of up to six people, from any number of households, or a group of any size from up to two households, are allowed to gather in parks and gardens in England, according to Government guidelines.

There are also other changes happening today, including outdoor sports facilities reopening.

But for many, it could be the first time they have seen family and friends since Herefordshire was in Tier 1 before Christmas.

It means for the last three months socialising has been limited to try and control the spread of coronavirus.
