MORE than a dozen pregnant sheep have been stolen from fields near Knighton.
Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the theft of the 15 pregnant mile ewes, which a spokesperson said are carrying twins.
They were stolen from enclosed fields in the Llangunllo area, near Knighton, earlier this month, but police did not give a more specific time.
All sheep have tagged ears, and were pitch market with an orange J on their rump, the police spokesperson added.
