Having read the report on Hereford revamp this week, there are a number excellent schemes proposed, but no mention of any investment in public toilets.
Most of the public toilets in the city have been shut down for a number of years and the few remaining ones are in a shameful condition.
Shoppers and visitors are forced to rely on retail outlets to provide these facilities, and they have been very limited during lockdown.
This makes visiting the city difficult for older citizens and families with young children.
I hope that some money will be set aside to invest in these essential facilities and their ongoing maintenance needs.
