EAGLE-EYED planespotters in Herefordshire may have seen this sight in the sky earlier today.
An eyewitness said what appears to be a passenger-type jet was seen flying in a northerly direction over Ross-on-Wye with a military aircraft escorting it just after 3pm on March 9.
It has been suggested the smaller aircraft may have been refuelling.
The planes are not the only unusual sight reported in Herefordshire's skies in recent months.
Other spots have included SAS Blue Thunder, while Puma helicopters regularly touch down in Hereford.
