A MAN was injured in an attack in a Herefordshire market town, a court has heard.

Graham Pier pleaded guilty to two assaults when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Pier had attacked another person in Ross-on-Wye on May 26, causing actual bodily harm.

The 56-year-old also admitted assaulting a second person by beating on the same date.

Pier, of Thorgam Court, Grimsby, received a two-year community order and a £200 fine. He must pay compensation of £150 to the first victim, £50 to the second, costs of £185, and a £95 victim surcharge.
