The B4224, the main road through Fownhope to Hereford collapsed back in February 2020 and has just celebrated its first birthday. Recently residents have been informed that the road will not be opened till April .
It has caused a lot of problems and strain to residents having to use the diversion up through Woolhope/ Haugh Woods causing damage to that road with traffic and also the wildlife.
The council is a shambles. They keep on wasting tax payers' money and I think the residents of Fownhope should have a free year of not paying Council Tax or at least a rebate.
The UK's roads are a disgrace – f a job needs doing, do it properly and keep it maintained. This would help save money and not waste it.
Waiting in anticipation for the reopening of the B4224.
