MORRISONS is making a "massive investment" as it resurfaces the car park at its store in Ross-on-Wye – meaning no more crater size potholes.

The car park at the store in Station Street will be improved in the weeks leading up to Easter, in early April.

The work will include a new crossing for pedestrians between the car park and petrol station, across the road which is the main entrance to the store.

"After a long, long wait we're finally having some work done on our car park here at Morrisons Ross," a post on the store's community Facebook page said.

"The company is making a massive investment and we should be seeing the drainage replaced, all kerb edging replaced, a safe crossing from the store to the petrol station and the whole car park resurfaced before Easter.

"No more crater sized potholes.

"The work will take place over the next four weeks so please bear with us as we make Morrisons Ross a safer and more welcoming place for our customers."
