ORGANISERS of Nozstock have said that they are 'determined' to hold this year's event providing it is safe to do so.

The team of organisers are busy planning ahead for this year, working on several different options for the festival, 'from an all systems go full weekend to other ideas built around possible social distancing and testing'.

This summer would be the festival’s 22nd edition between July 22 and 25.

Part of the organising team Ella Nosworthy said: “We are really devastated for the amazing team at Glastonbury and their recent news.

"But we know they will be back better and stronger next year.

"We are still in the planning stages for 2021 and are resolved to deliver Nozstock this summer.

"So long as we can do it safely and we are allowed, we’re determined to do so.

"We’re scenario planning at the moment, and the format might need to change.

"We are working on a lot of ideas, and it really depends on how positively things progress for us and the whole UK festival community in the coming weeks.”

For most of the year the Rowden Paddocks, near Bromyard, is a fully working farm, with cows, sheep and chickens.

Every summer since 2008 the festival has grown, with last year’s fallow summer the first time Nozstock had not taken place.

Set on the working farm in, it is family-run, home-made and proudly independent.

Noz (dad), Julie (mum), Ella (daughter) and Rob (son) – and a huge extended team of family, volunteers and workers – all come together to create a weekend of magic each July.

The Nosworthy family curate a gathering of music and arts, with a focus on keeping families entertained in the Little Wonderland Kids’ Area for around 5,000 people annually.

Nozstock will be announcing more news in the coming weeks.
