FLOODING is causing travel delays in Herefordshire this morning with multiple flood alerts in force across the county.
There is flooding in Canon Pyon Road, Hereford, and on the Bromyard to Ledbury road at Staplow, which is passable only by four-wheel drive vehicles.
Flooding is also affecting several main roads and minor roads across the rest of the county, including the M50.

The flooding in the Malvern Link area has now receded, allowing lines between Worcester Foregate Street and Great Malvern to reopen. Trains on this route may still be cancelled or delayed.
National Rail is advising people not to travel between Worcester Foregate Street and Hereford, because flooding on roads means it is not possible to provide alternative road transport.
Across Herefordshire, there are currently flood alerts in force for the rivers Arrow, Frome, Lugg, Wye, Teme, and Leadon catchment.
A flood warning has also been issued for the river Frome at Bishops Frome.
Dave Throup, Environment Agency manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire, said the snow that had been expected had fallen as rain so far.
With the ground already saturated from recent deluge it was making the flooding risk worse, though areas worse affected would be along the rivers Severn and Avon, rather than the Wye.
The Environment Agency is warning that heavy rain will lead to rivers rising, with flooding of low-lying land across Herefordshire expected today.
Further rain is forecast today, and the Environment Agency are monitoring the situation.
