When I wanted to move from Oxfordshire in 2012, I ended up choosing Hereford because it appeared have ‘everything’, but I hadn’t seen the disgraceful amount of graffiti.
The old railway route is disgraceful. I cycle into town and the graffiti on every bin, garage and bridge has been there over five years.
With the council proudly setting aside new cycle areas, it’s about time they took a look at a route that children walk to school every day, with its bad language painted on signs and left for years.
We can pick up litter, but we can’t erase graffiti.
The council should get down there and see the ‘neglected township’ area for themselves. As for the rest of this cathedral city, don’t get me started.
