THE number of coronavirus cases in Herefordshire risen by almost 150 in the last 24 hours, official figures show.
Public Health England figures show that 138 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Friday (January 15) in Herefordshire, up from 4,881 the same time on Thursday.
In the last seven days, 703 people have tested positive.
The graph below shows the number of cases in Herefordshire by date of test, and not the day when the cases were published by PHE.
The Government website says the last five days' data is incomplete, thought to be due to a delay in results being processed.
A further 55,761 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK have been reported on Thursday, Public Health England said. It takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 3,316,019.

Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
Latest figures from NHS England show 125 people have died at the Wye Valley NHS Trust after a positive coronavirus test, with figures covering up to 4pm on Thursday (January 14).
