ANOTHER 95 coronavirus cases have been reported in Herefordshire, the latest official figures show.

Public Health England data shows 4,695 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Tuesday (January 12) in Herefordshire, up from 4,600 the same time on Sunday.

It means over the last seven days, 729 cases have been reported in the county.

The graph below shows the number of cases in Herefordshire by date of test, and not the day when the cases were published by PHE.

The Government website says the last five days' data is incomplete, thought to be due to a delay in results being processed.

Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 45,533 over the period, to 3,164,051.

Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.

Separate figures from NHS England, which cover up to 4pm on Monday (January 11) show 116 people have now died at the Wye Valley Trust after a positive Covid-19 test result.
