Joshua Andrew Hodge admitted drug-driving when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford on January 6.

The court head Hodge had been caught driving a Seat Leon on the A40 near Ganarew on July 8.

An evidential test revealed the 29-year-old had 62 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50.

Hodge, of Park Road, Caldicot, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
