The number of recorded coronavirus cases in Herefordshire has increased by 65 over the last 24 hours, official figures show.

Public Health England figures show that an accumulative total 4,381 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Saturday (January 9) in Herefordshire, up from 4,316 the same time on Friday.

Today’s rise is much lower than the spike of 152 cases recorded yesterday.

In the past seven days, 697 new cases have been reported.

In the United Kingdom a total of 59,937 Covid-19 cases have been recorded in the last 24-hour period.
