I WAS surprised that Extinction Rebellion were only interested in stopping the use of soya chicken feed from the Amazon rain forests, but not worried about how all animal agriculture is destroying the planet.
To help the planet and stop pandemics caused by the overcrowded, filthy conditions in which factory farmed animals live, XR should be encouraging a plant-based diet.
Herefordshire has one of the highest amounts of intensively reared animals.
Having spoken to many XR supporters, I have been horrified to learn that very few are on a plant-based diet.
This is a way we could all make a huge improvement to the environment.
Come on XR, sort out your diets then we might take you seriously.
