THE main road between Hereford and Brecon has been closed due to a crash near Whitney-on-Wye.
The A438 was closed by police as officers, along with other emergency services, dealt with a crash on Thursday evening.
West Mercia Police said the road was closed "just outside" Whitney-on-Wye in both directions at around 4pm.
They told drivers to plan their route and avoid the area.
Traffic website Inris said two vehicles were involved, with the crash between the B4350 at Whitney and the Brilley turn off.
It added it affected traffic between Eardisley and Glasbury.
The road reopened at around 5.30pm.
