A VAN driver who refused to give a breath sample to police has been banned from the roads.
Mateusz Szwajda was found guilty of the offence by magistrates in Hereford on November 12.
The court heard he had been stopped driving a Renault van on Westfaling Street in Hereford on February 15.
The 30-year-old was asked by police to provide a breath sample, but failed to do so, magistrates heard.
Szwajda, of Springfield Avenue, Hereford, was fined £200 and disqualified from driving for 12 months. He must also pay costs of £200 and a £32 victim surcharge.
