A MAN has appeared in court after harassing a woman by leaving gifts on her doorstep.

Colwyn Neil Lewis entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford on November 16.

The court heard the 53-year-old had pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment between August 9 and 31.

Lewis, of Lower Bazley, Peterchurch, received a 12 month community order, 60 hours of unpaid work, and a two-year restraining order. He must also pay costs of £200 and a £95 victim surcharge.
