The package was seemingly delivered to the wrong address.
A MEMBER of the Powys public handed over a package containing half a kilo of cannabis to police on Friday, after it was sent to the wrong address.
Dyfed Powys Police announced on Twitter that the package was handed in to Presteigne Police Station after being found by a law-abiding citizen.
Radnorshire Police tweeted at 4.35pm: “Handed in at Presteigne Police Station today by a member of the public who found this half a kilo of cannabis which will not be on the street today as it was sent to the wrong address!!”
Although approximate, half a kilogram of cannabis could hold a potential street value of £3,500.
