Hereford petrol station to reopen after £1.7 million overhaul

The Holmer Road Co-op filling station and store, which has been closed since July, will be opening to customers on November 20 after a programme of works to overhaul the fuel infrastructure and build a new, larger, food store.

The investment in the 24-hour A49 site, which supports 25 local jobs, has seen new fuel tanks, pumps, canopy and forecourt layout, while the store’s retail space has almost trebled in size.

The new-look store now includes Amazon Lockers, customer car parking, Costa coffee express and an in-store bakery.
