ANOTHER eight cases of coronavirus in Herefordshire have been confirmed in the latest daily update from Public Health England.
The figures from PHE show 1,113 people have now been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Monday (October 12) in Herefordshire, up from 1,005 at the same time on Sunday.
The rate of infection in Herefordshire now stands at 577 cases per 100,000 people, far lower than the England average of 935.
Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 13,972, to 617,688.
Herefordshire's cases were among the 54,111 recorded across the West Midlands, a figure which rose by 938 over the period.
Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
