I was flabbergasted to see an extra lane on the road in Broad Street, Hereford, for pedestrians to walk in a socially distanced manner.
The cost of numerous wooden tubs containing flowers and shrubs to mark the boundary and pedestrians painted on the lane is hardly warranted at a time of fiscal deficit.
People already have plenty of room to separate and surely have the common sense.
Madness!
