My daughter is a nurse at Hereford hospital. I find it appalling that staff have nowhere to park.
My daughter has an 11-month-old son who she has to drop off at nursery before starting a 12-and-a-half hour shift.
She is then expected to walk a long distance back to her car in the dark.
She has applied for a parking permit only to be told they had given out too many.
I would have thought staff working shifts finishing when it is dark should get priority.
Nurses work so hard, but are treated with no respect.
With a second wave very likely to hit the hospitals it is time the nurses are looked after.
Clapping them does not ensure their safety and it is about time this country looked after NHS staff.
