A DRIVER who undertook a stationary car by driving along the pavement has been fined.
John Wilcox admitted driving without due care or attention in Leominster when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester on September 23.
The court heard the 75-year-old, who is from Ffairfach, Llandeilo, was driving a Mitsubishi Outlander on Westfield Walk on November 23 when he came up behind a stationary vehicle which was waiting for oncoming traffic to pass.

But instead of waiting behind the car in front, Wilcox mounted and drove along the pavement to undertake it, rejoining the carriageway ahead.
Wilcox was fined £100 and received three penalty points. He must pay costs of £110 and a £32 victim surcharge.
