An air ambulance was called out after a mountain biker fell from his at Lake Vyrnwy on Sunday.
The 50-year-old man fell off his bike and sustained pelvic injuries just before 5pm.
Call-handlers from the Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team were made aware of the injured mountain biker and, while the team was gathering information, the EMRTS Wales Air Ambulance attended the scene and the team was stood down.
The rescue team's neighbours at South Snowdonia Search & Rescue Team, living closer to the scene, offered to provide early assistance to the casualty.
