A BUS stop and phone box in Bettws Cedewain have been destroyed after a car collided with them.
Residents in the area woke up to the damage located on the B4389 road which happened in the early hours of this morning.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Dyfed-Powys Police was made aware of a collision in Bettws Cedewain at around 2.50am today (September 25).
"Officers attended and discovered a car had collided with a bus stop, the roof of which was resting on the roof of the vehicle.
"A phone box had also been damaged in the incident.
"The vehicle was recovered from the road, with assistance from the fire service.
"The driver was not at the scene."
