A DRINK-driver who damaged a custody cell has been banned from the roads.
Julian Brian Thomas, of Brampton Bryan, Bucknell, admitted drink-driving in Herefordshire on August 8.
The court heard the 49-year-old had 69 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he drove a Mini Cooper on the A4113 at Brampton Bryan. The legal limit is 35.
Thomas also admitted deliberately causing around £50 worth of damage to a cell at Hereford Police Station on the same date.
Thomas was disqualified from driving for 18 months, fined £250 and ordered to pay compensation of £50 to West Mercia Police.
He was also handed a 12 month conditional discharge and must pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
