A MAN has been jailed after showing 'a flagrant disregard' for court orders.
Michael Barr, of Greenfields, Kington, admitted breaching the terms of two orders and possessing a class B drug when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on September 7.
The court heard that between February 21 2019 and September 7 2020, 50-year-old Barr had been with a person he was prohibited from having contact with by a restraining order imposed in February 2019.
He also had been in possession of a quantity of cannabis on September 6.
Magistrates heard that the offences had been committed while Barr was subject to a 24-month conditional discharge order imposed by magistrates in Hereford on February 21 last year.
Magistrates said the offence was serious because Barr had a flagrant disregard for court orders.
Barr was jailed for four months and the drugs were ordered to be forfeited and destroyed. He must pay costs of £185 and £128 victim surcharge.
