Two-vehicle crash closes road near Trewern
Welshpool firefighters say there were no serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision near Trewern on Wednesday afternoon.
Police officers, paramedics and the Welsh Flying Medics were also sent to the incident on the A458 between Cefn and Trewern.
Local diversions were in place while the road was closed.
Traffic Wales reported at about 7.15pm that the road has since reopened in both directions.
Welshpool Fire Station tweeted to say that "luckily no major injuries" following the collision.
"Great joint working between all agencies involved," they added.
