A crew manager at Llanidloes fire station joined his four-legged friend to take part in a charity walking challenge.
Jamie Jerman and his dog Rex took on the 500-mile challenge to raise money for The Firefighters Charity.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service employees and volunteers are taking in the challenge this month to raise vital awareness and funds for the firefighters charity.
The charity offers specialist lifelong support for members of the UK’s fire services community, helping people to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Many charities are feeling the affects of Covid, with nearly all community based events being postponed. The usual donations have seen a rapid decline but with the need of their services increased. We want to help support such an amazing charity that is close to our hearts.
