THE 14th century Parish church of St Michael And All Angels in Bodenham will reopen on Sunday, August 30, having been closed for ten months due to flooding and Covid-19.
Since October 2019 the church building has flooded four times, the most serious of which was caused by Storm Dennis in February when the flood water rose to 18 inches internally, causing significant damage to the interior.
Since February, the building has undergone an extensive process of drying and cleaning, and the doors will re-open to worshippers on Sunday for a Eucharist service of praise and thanksgiving, at 10am.
