RESIDENTS have shared their stunning photos following last nights storm across the region.
The sky was lit up yellow on Wednesday evening as a weather warning was upgraded to amber.
The Met Office put the amber warning in place, warning of "large hail, frequent lightning and gusty winds."
Whilst some people were tucked safely in bed, others could not get enough of the strange weather and captured some shockingly good photographs.
