I live in Kington and I regularly walk up to the cemetery.

Not having been up for a couple of weeks, today (July 29), I took some flowers up for my parents’ graves.

The overgrowth on the pavement is a disgrace and very dangerous.

I had to walk quite a length of the pavement on the busy road –  the overgrowth of the hedge, nettles and weeds have more room on the pavement than a pedestrian.

Fast lorries going by suck you closer to the road as there’s not enough room to stand close in by the hedge.

Come on farmers, give your boundary hedges some attention. It’s your responsibility to ensure pedestrians can walk on the pavement safely.
